End of Line Resistor

A resistor placed at the end of a sensor circuit to allow the control panel to monitor for tampering or wire cuts.

Full Definition

EOL Resistors provide a supervisory voltage to the circuit. If an intruder cuts the wire or shorts the circuit, the change in resistance is detected by the panel, triggering a 'Tamper' alarm.
